The Unified Wine & Grape Symposium is North America's largest annual conference and trade show for the wine and grape industry, bringing together growers, vintners, and allied professionals for education, networking, and to see the latest products/services in viticulture and enology. The client wanted to celebrate the event's 25th anniversary with a visual identity that completely rejected the 'boring' traditional wine industry look and feel — creating something bold and unexpected that would engage attendees on a busy tradeshow floor.
To break away from the traditional wine industry aesthetic, we looked outside the category entirely — drawing inspiration from the bold, graphic language of 1960s pop culture and contemporary reinterpretations of it. The result was a high-impact, modern identity system designed to disrupt expectations and energize the event’s 25th anniversary.

Outcome / Impact
The bold Pop Art direction immediately differentiated the Symposium within a sea of traditional wine branding, drawing heightened attention across the tradeshow floor. The vibrant visual system increased booth visibility, sparked attendee conversations, and created shareable moments across digital and social platforms. Ultimately, the 25th anniversary identity repositioned the event as progressive, energetic, and future-focused — strengthening its relevance with both long-standing industry professionals and emerging leaders.
